DogEase is a Brisbane based professional dog training business that strive to decrease the amount of dogs that are euthanasied or given up due to unruly behaviour, by bringing harmony to the household though training and understanding.
It is owned and operated by Sacha Beatson. Sacha has been training dogs most of her life however, on a professional level she spent four years in the UK working as a vet nurse, running puppy pre-schools and advising clients on Dog and Cat behaviour problems, she also received a certificate in 2002 from the BVNA (British Veterinary Nursing Association) for CAB (Companion Animal Behaviour). She is also a qualified Dog Listener completing the advanced course run by the Jan Fennell Corporation. Upon moving to Australia she continued for a short time as a veterinary nurse, she then worked with one of Brisbane’s most recognised and highly regarded dog training companies, where she has worked hands on continuously for the past five years training dogs and their owners, until such time she built her own business.
Sometimes owning a dog, no matter how much we love them, can be very hard work – but this doesn’t have to continue. We at DogEase believe that using the method of Dog Listening will train owners how to communicate with their dog which is an absolute must in today’s world. More and more dog owners are finding the council on their doorstep handing out fines for excessive barking or a variety of other problems. Rather than giving away money on expensive fines, DogEase can help train you before the problems start, or even fix up those problem behaviours you’ve been experiencing.
Learning how your dog’s mind works and communicating with them in a way they understand will enable you to teach them to be calm and happy this means behaviour problems will diminish. Dogs which were originally bred to work are now becoming domestic pets and companions, but just because we take them out of their natural environment doesn't mean their instincts have changed – they still behave like dogs! Many people think their dog is badly behaved, but of course the dog doesn't see it like that, they are just acting like a dog – it’s the environment and situation the dog is placed in that makes the behaviour unacceptable. Dogs and people can live in harmony with each other, but it is how we interact and communicate with the dog that makes all the difference.

The method used by DogEase is Dog Listening and positive reinforcement. Dog Listening has proven to be the gentlest, most successfully and effective method that dogs respond too – therefore they want to actually do things for their owners (pack leaders).
