Six Day In- Home Course
This course is designed to teach your dog certain obedience commands. This can only be done following a Behaviour Consult and once your Dog Listening skills are in place and the dog is in a place where they are happy and calm. Obedience should be fun and basicly 'Icing on the cake' there is no point trying to teach obedience commands unless your dog responds to you in a possitive manner. We will meet with you on the first day to discuss how your relationship is with the dog “Is leadership in place?” If your leadership is in place we can go ahead and have some fun teaching your dog to:
Sit, Drop, Stay, Heel and any other commands you would like them to learn.
Who trains the dog?
After meeting you on the first day we can come and train the dog while you are at work or busy, then meet with you on the last day of training to teach you how to use the new commands your dog has already learned. This works very well and dogs respond very quickly. Of course it is up to you to continue using the commands along with your leadership technics to make sure the training your dog has had continues to work and improve. If this is how you would like to have your dog trained, this is done on three consecutive days over two weeks.
OR...
You train your own dog. The instructor will teach you with your dog the best methods of training step by step. Learning to teach your own dog the commands you need will not only help you understand how to train your dog, but will give you the tools to continue with confidence.
Option 1:
We will train your dog for three consecutive days per week for two weeks.
Option 2:
We will train your dog together, one, two or three lesson per week, for a total of six sessions to suit your schedule.
Additional one hour lessons are also available.
Note: Dogs must be over 5 months of age.
No less than one lesson per week. Times and days must be pre-arranged.
All lessons must be paid for with booking or on the first lesson.
